@yuanycz Is it just save and exit? Or also separate save or separate exit?
Do you use a cloud sync like Icloud for your documents folder?
which OS do you have at the moment?

Just save and exit and exit only. Whenever I tried to save it, it seemed to work just fine, but from time to time my game lags and I'm not able to save it anymore (or do anything for that matter)
Yeah, my game folder is linked to my iCloud / or stationed in the folder of my iCloud.
Atm i have the Ventura 13.0.1

it's -sadly- an issue with ventura they're aware of ☹️
lag upon saving can also be worsened by cloud saving (hence my question) when it has trouble uploading the newly saved file. You can always stop syncing and see if that makes it any better. The exit portion is likely the known issue with Ventura though. - Bluebellflora3 years agoHero+@yuanycz
Merged into the Ventura/Intel Mac thread for this known issue. The lag may be RAM/CPU related or simply large save files.
@DeanXeL
There is no lag saving even if your TS4 folder is stored in iCloud as it is also stored locally. The game cannot access saves only stored in the cloud because it cannot see the data, it only looks on the local Documents folder.
