I am playing Sims 4 on a Macbook Pro (Ventura 13.1 (22C65) - the latest OS update) and I can launch and play the game perfectly fine, but whenever I try to exit/close the game, the entire game/sims 4 app freezes and I can only force quit it. I just spoke with Apple support and there are no issues with my laptop. I have plenty of storage and RAM and everything on my end is up to date. I ran diagnostics on my laptop and there were no issues. So it is an issue with the Sims 4.
I spoke with EA support and I followed the steps to reset Origin and download the latest version. I did so after having just reset my laptop. It still did not fix the issue.
I was told by support to post about it here since there was nothing left for me to try.
If anyone else is having the same issue, please let me know.

It's a known issue with Ventura on Intel Macs. Disappointing that Support weren't aware of it and couldn't inform you sooner.
