Game crashes when using the sledgehammer tool in Build Mode

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In Build Mode, specifically when using the sledgehammer. *The house I'm working on is from the gallery, built on the Chateau Peak lot (Get Famous), if that has any relevance.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game crashes. It's slow starting up as well, and lags a little as I head into Build Mode, but it always crashes as soon as I use the sledgehammer tool.
What do you expect to see? The sledgehammer tool should be able to delete the unwanted items quickly, without completely shutting down the game.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The crashes started happening right after I got the Moschino Stuff Pack, which was also the same day as a June 16th 2022 Sims Delivery. I'm not sure which one is causing the issue.
