Game Freezing When Traveling MAC

Running Sims 4 on iMac on OS Monterey

Game play is working fine after this last patch except I can't change outfits or travel off my lot without the game freezing. It wont pull up the next menu the screen just goes gray like it's going to load to the next screen but it doesn't. Also the plumbob keeps spinning as if you're playing but the sim is frozen. Game freezes just the same with and without mods. Ive repaired my game twice and it keeps happening.
