Game keeps crashing
I have Sims 4 installed on my Macbook air and it has been running smoothly since i got it, I did at some point start downloading custom content and it did not affect the game and it never crashed. But after downloading some new Custom Content today my game would not start. I start the game and the black screen i get before the sims 4 loading screen comes up, and before the sims 4 loading screen comes up, after 5-ish seconds, the game crashes. So my first thought was that it must be the custom content so i removed all the latest custom content one by one and tested the game, and i kept having the same problem, so i removed all the CC form the mods folder but the game still won't work. I have tried repairing the game through Origin but that didn't work either. Does anybody know how to solve this? Do i have to re-install my game?
It did give me an error page yes 🙂 But i managed to fix it, after lots og googling haha :D Had to re install the game, re install origin, delete the resource.cfg file and the tray file like a hundred times before it started working 😉 I tried downloading new CC and got the same problem but i found the corrupt file so now my game works with CC, but i lost all my progress which is a little sad ☹️
