Re: Game crashing or not loading especially after updating? Post here.

Ever since the update, the Sims 4 will not launch. I open, it gets to the Sims4 screen and then freezes. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I tried to repair the game, I'm not sure what else to try. I'm on a Mac, if that makes a difference.

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.

    I'm not the OP, but my game also won't launch. I'm on a Macbook Pro 2021 using MacOS 26 (as of today). I do not use mods or CC at all.
