For some reason, the new patch made my game really glitchy. Won't even start up, when it does itll get stuck on the loading screen, and if i get into actual game play everything is just low-res and its making me sad. Any help would be appreciated, or I will just wait until they fix it, because my game was running smoothly before this patch yesterday.
@carrdelany Great, thanks for the info. I've merged your post with the master thread. It looks like turning down or disabling Edge Smoothing helps; you can skim through for other suggestions if that doesn't help. And feedback either way would be great.
Disabling smooth edging does not help for me. The only thing that makes the glitching and blinking stop is turning down my 3D scene resolution to medium or low which makes my game look awful. Then I tried putting my other settings higher besides the 3D resolution but then the glitching comes back. Next I’ll be trying changing the settings in windowed mode
I tried my game in window mode with edge smoothing off and 3D Scene Resolution high and it’s still flashing glitches randomly in my game but less frequently.
Then I turned the 3D scene resolution to medium and the glitching mostly stopped. I still saw it occasionally. But I hate how it makes my game look, everything is fuzzy and blurry.
Is this the only way we can directly contact EA about this problem?
