Help! My Sims4 won't close with "Save and Exit" on my Mac.

Hey y'all, if you could help me it would be much appreciated. I just got Sims4 yesterday, and when I went to Save and Exit for the night, it would not close. I've had my computer open for three hours...

    Click on the Apple in the menu bar then Force Quit, select the game and quit it.
