How is the Sims 4 seasons in Mac Pro?

Since in Sims 3, the worst expansion pack for Mac is seasons, how about in Sims 4? Any changes in lags? Graphics problems?

@beliebingxxx  You should be able to run Seasons on your mac, but perhaps at the highest settings.  Your computer has decent enough hardware for the pack itself.  The question becomes what other packs you have installed as well as how much custom content.  The more you add to the game, the lower the performance you'll see.  Every computer performs a bit differently, so it's difficult to say exactly what kind of experience you'd have on this mac.  But no matter what, Seasons will increase the demands on your computer.  So if you're not thrilled with yout TS4 performance as it is, you might not want to add this pack.

  • @beliebingxxx  As with its TS3 iteration, Sims 4 Seasons is a heavy-hitting pack that does require some resources to run.  Unlike the previous version, however, TS4's Seasons can be played properly on any mac of sufficient strength.  It might take some adjustments to your in-game graphics settings to make the pack work.  But the biggest problem with TS3 for mac—the hard limit of 2 GB RAM—is not an issue in TS4.

If you'd like a rough idea of what kind of performance you might be able to expect out of your mac, you can post your specs here to get some feedback.  Here's how to gather the relevant information:

(By the way, it probably doesn't matter to you at this point, but TS3 Pets was harder to run than Seasons.  It's just that Pets came first, and the combination of both was what made playing impossible on so many macs.  And plenty of PCs, too.)

Do you think it will run smoothly if I play both city living + get to work?

@beliebingxxx  Honestly, I can't say for sure.  While knowing your specs helps narrow things down, each computer will perform slightly differently.  Perhaps you'll find better answers on the official forums, where there are a lot of active TS4 players using a wide variety of hardware.  You could ask for input from anyone with a similar mac to yours; I'm guessing that there are a number of such people who are currently running seasons on their macbooks.
