I accidentally deleted a familly from my gallery in Sims 4 - can I get it back?

So, I accidentally deleted one of my families from the Sims 4 gallery, and it was a really big one I was proud of, and I would like to know If I can do something to get it back. I've tried removing the file 'TrayDeletedItems', but that did not bring them back. I have not deleted the file, only removed it, so I can put it back if I have to.

I'm on a Macbook Pro.

Is there any way I can bring them back?

    Great. Can you remember when this happened? Can you go back to a previous backup and see if the files were backed up around the time you saved the family?

    @jjotb If it was only in your gallery where you deleted them, you can always go into one of your worlds where they still exist and copy them back to the gallery.

    @Psychotps The thing is, I only put them into the gallery. I never put them out in the world. I only made them in CAS and saved them to my gallery so I could work on it later.

    @Bluebellflora Thank you so much!!! Luckily it only happened yesterday, so I remember exactly when it happened. I just got my family back! Now I know what to do if it happens again!
