iCloud GB upgrade
I have a 5GB Mac Laptop and I want to buy the sims 4 with some expansion packs. If I buy an additional 200GB iCloud storage will it help run the game and the expansion packs or should I not get it at all?
@b8162db982c6c613 I believe the 5 GB you're referring to is the amount of iCloud storage offered for free with an Apple account, not anything about the specs of your mac. You can't use cloud storage during gameplay—your program files need to be installed on your hard drive. The only benefit to having extra space in iCloud is storing data that you don't want taking up space on your computer.
While freeing up space on your hard drive will help the game run better, you might prefer to invest in an external drive instead of paying for an iCloud subscription. Both have benefits; it's just a matter of your personal preference.
