Is it ok to compress my sims 4 packs?

So I’m running out of space on my MacBook Air and my sims 4 packs folder is taking up a ton of space. I thought about compressing the folder to make some more space. Before I do that I want to make sure this is safe to do and not a terrible idea and if there are any risks. Thanks.

@Hoopertheunicorn Were you talking about zipping part or the whole folder to reduce the size? I would suggest checking through this article about some options if you are running out of space.

The Sims 4 Packs folder contains all your downloaded packs. It cannot be zipped. It must be in the same location as the Sims 4 app, typically the Applications folder.
