so I just had that same issue, and I have an external screen but I unchecked the "Retina display' in sims settings and it appears to work as of now

Wondering if this is still an issue on Mac minis and 24" displays or has it been resolved without the need for Retina display to be unchecked?

@Bluebellflora Hey! I moved mine back to full screen end of June/early July and it’s been working fine since then.
