[MAC] Sims 3 won't launch due to 'unexpected eror'

Just purchased the Sims 3 Pets expansion pack and installed in via digital download. My base game was running just fine before. I have not been able to play the game with the expansion pack since. Or...

Without knowing what other packs you have installed or what Mac you have it's a bit difficult to help but please read the following which may provide further help:

BTW, you don't need Origin to play the game on a Mac, just to download it. Once download the external installer runs to install it and then you can just launch it from your Applications folder 🙂

Also, moving this to the Sims Mac forum as it is not an Origin issue.
