MacBook Pro, search EVERYWHERE for this answer and no one gives any answers
Highly frustrating, longtime Sims player and switched to using a Macbook. But noticed the skill cheats like stats.set_skill_level Major_Handiness 10 is not working at all.
Only thing that seems to work is the Motherlode cheat not even the shift click cheats work either.
Has anyone else with a Mac have this same issue?
I've just tested on my Mac and it works fine. Are you making sure to enter testingcheats true first, getting the confirmation that cheats are enabled, and then entering the skill cheat?
Of course I'm using the testingcheats I've been playing Sims since the beginning. I'm not new I just feel highly disappointed because since switching from a PC to MAC not all the cheats work.
Only one that works perfectly is Motherlode as my original post states. Oddly enough testingcheats true does not work I had to type in testingcheats enabled true.
Oh well at this moment I've given up on the skill cheats and just playing the old fashion way. But if anyone can give me some actual advice and not the same ol advice like if im a new gamer to this because I am not, I would be greatly appreciated.
