Though the track pad issue was solved.

You might want to repair your game through Origin and make sure you're game is really uptodate.
You find the version number at the bottom of the screen: It should be 1.54.120

My game is up to date, and I have repaired the game multiple times. It's also obviously not been fixed considering it's still happening.
Could you please open your game to the main menu and check the complete version number.
