Nothing is guaranteed to run in a beta OS unfortunately. I had the game running in the previous beta version but haven't' updated yet, I'll give it a go and post back 🙂
It works perfectly on my Macbook pro with Big Sur
Cheers

Was it an upgrade to Big Sur or a clean install of the original app? I keep getting a prohibitory sign when trying to install the Origin APP

I fixed it. I used Microsoft edge browser and went to the origin page and downloaded an updated client. https://www.dm.origin.com/mac/download is the link to the download.

I'm baffled right now. I just installed Origin but when I go to launch, I get an error:
“Origin” needs to be updated.
The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.
Looks like I'm stuck waiting until alpha release.
