Processor 1.3 GHz Intel Core i5

Games : Sims 3
I just upgraded from OS X El Capitan to Sierra and my game won't open at all. Right after installing the update I opened the game (Sim 3) and it opened up normally but it took much longer to load than it normally does so I closed the game and restarted the computer, and now when I try opening it, it won't go past the blue screen with the plumber in the middle.
-The Sims 3 expansion I currently have installed are: Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Seasons, Showtime, and Supernatural. I've been playing the Sims 3 using El Capitan for months without any problems, this is the first time I've ever encountered a problem like this one.

I've been having technical issues with my MacBook Air as well. The Sims 3 on my computer runs fine without Ambitions and Late Night (with them installed the game fails to boot up and instead launches with a message "Unknown Error has occurred") which sucks. However, i am able to boot up the game and play it for a decent amount of time before the graphics start to get wonky, and the blue menu bar tends to disappear and I notice that when I take a sim in my household into CAS they tend to turn into bright different colors and then I just have to exit it out because the game is virtually and visibly unplayable. I seen online that there was a fix for Intel Iris Graphics, However I have a Mid 2013 MacBook Pro with Intel HD 5000 Graphics and I am in desperate need for a fix so I will be able to fully and happily play my game along with those two packs stated above. HELP!? ☹️
