Sims 3 won't launch on my Mac once I downloaded my expansion packs.
I have a MacBook Pro and it's only a few months old.

Unfortunately any updates to the OS are now risking a game as old as Sims 3 from not working. The game has not been updated since January 2014 when the latest release of OS X was 10.9.1 Mavericks. Therefore any subsequent updates are not supported. There are tips in the Sims 3 stickied help thread on this forum that may help but no magic fix ☹️
Can you be more specific? What Mac do you have? Which version of macOS are you running? What EPs and SPs do you have installed?
