I keep getting a message when I open Sims 4 that the game isn’t optimised for my system and needs to be updated.
Apple is going to drop support for 32 bit games in the future. Are games available on Origin going to be updated to a 64 bit version and if not, what does this mean for the future of EA games on Mac? I really hope they’re going to be updated or I won’t be able to play the games I’ve already bought.
Sims 4 is already 64-bit. This error message is currently being looked into by EA but they need information to help find the cause. Please could you upload your Mac System Report in a post on here? Once they have it we can remove it from your post 🙂

Helpful to know, thanks. Weird that I'm getting that message :/ It doesn't appear every time I open the game.
There's a loottt of information in my Mac System Report. What in particular would it be helpful for EA to see? I'm using Mojave version 10.14, which was released quite recently so maybe this is causing problems.- Bluebellflora7 years agoHero+
@cha0sdr3am
It only seems to appear after an OS update or new patch. The whole report is needed. I've forwarded mine and so have a few others 🙂- 7 years ago
Ok thanks. I will send it through to them.
