The risk with installing unsupported operating systems is that your Mac may be unstable and some apps will not work. This has been a known issue for a year now and we have been getting warning messages about 32-bit apps not running in subsequent versions of macOS after Mojave. Yes, Sims 4 is 64-bit but this one file, the ActivationUI, is a 32-bit executable. This was actually fixed in the April patch but then rolled back as the game didn't load for Lion users.
The golden rule of installing beta versions of operating systems - never do it on your main machine, ever.
