I first tried on the pre-GM build (the one that came out a few days ago, I believe. I got the error, then updated to the GM build to see if it helped. I might try to create another admin user and try there to see if it's consistent, but otherwise I'll do the reinstall. It definitely seems to be something specific to my system.

Edit: I guess it's not just me. That makes me feel a little better, tbh.

I have the same, new error (already running) on my GM beta. it showed up before I updated to the GM-edition, though. it’s a bummer, was looking forward to be able to play again for the first time in months.
