Missing mods and EA app using old mods that no longer exist?
I found my mods folder when first switching to the EA app, but I noticed that the mods I updated and new mods that I put in weren't showing up in game. After a closer look, I realized the mods that were in the game were not mods that were in my mods folder. I tried deleting and redownloading everything, only to make my problem worse. My electronic arts folder is now under Macintosh HD/user/shared, and there is no sims 4 or mods folder to be found. I've been on a wild ride trying to create a new mods folder, redownloading the game entirely, and trying to find the path to my old mods folder. Every time I launch the game, I still have my old mods that no longer exist on my laptop. Any suggestions would be wonderful!

Your Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder should be directly in your local Documents folder. Manually navigate to that location, don't do a search, and make sure your Mods are in that Mods folder. The game will not be loading data from any other location.
