Mods aren't loading!

Hi there, 

I've been searching the forum for my exact question for a while now and I haven't seen it been asked so apologies if this was answered somewhere and I missed it! 

I recently bought the new expansion pack and deleted all my mods (I only have a few, less than 10 probably). I went through and redownloaded the mods that were updated with this new patch, so I know the mods are all working. I updated my game and pressed the allow mods in the game. I restarted it and my mods show up in that pop-up window but they aren't showing up in the game. I have tried to repair the game, went through and double-checked that all my new mods work with the current patch, and double-checked on my storage. I have fewer mods than what I originally started out with, and they just aren't showing up in my game. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong? My gameplay is otherwise not affected, loading times are about the same there's just no sign of the few mods I put in my mods folder!
