The pointing device should make no difference. Have you tried repairing your game? Did you try a new Sims 4 folder?No not yet. I’m new to having a MacBook so I’m not sure how to make a new folder? How do I repair the game??

To repair - right click on the game in your Origin games library and select Repair Game.
To force the game to create a new Sims 4 folder, go into your Documents folder then the Electronic Arts folder and drag the Sims 4 folder to the desktop.
