@puzzlezaddict hi! Do I have to delete the existing saves, tray, etc. before transferring my old sims 4 save files into the folder? A new sims/save was made by someone else and I don't want to delete what they've made. If I don't delete the existing save files, will it harm anything on my computer or will my old save files just sync together in the folder with the new save files without any negative effect?

@glitterfawn You don't need to delete any of the new files. However, you may need to rename the new save so it doesn't have the same name as a save you're transferring over. Sims 4 names saves sequentially, so the first one you create on any computer will be Slot_00000002.save . (That's an eight-digit hexidecimal number, as in, it uses digits 0 to 9 and a to f.) You can simply renumber this save so it doesn't conflict, for example Slot_00000010.save ; just use a number that none of your current saves have.
