@alxsha24 Yes, you can transfer your files from one computer to another, even between different operating systems. All of your user generated content is located in the Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts: your saves are in the Saves folder, your builds and saved sims in Tray, your screenshots in Screenshots, etc. Here's a full list of everything you'll find in your game folder:

You can copy the entire folder from your old computer to an external hard drive or USB stick, although if you're switching OSs, make sure it's formatted for both Windows and macOS. Or you can upload the folder to a free filehosting site and download it on your new computer. Using iCloud would also work.
In any case, the best practice is to launch the game once on your new computer, to make sure everything is working properly. Then you can go into the new game folder in Documents\EA, delete the contents of the existing Saves, Tray, etc. folders, and copy over the files you'd like to keep.

Copy the Sims 4 folder containing your saves etc. onto a USB drive and then plug that into your Mac and transfer to Documents > Electronic Arts. - tuberose19884 years agoNot applicable
Go to file, documents, electronic arts, the sims 4. Then I copied my saves, my tray, and my mods to a cheap little portable flash drive then put the flash drive in the new computer that has the sims already downloaded. Then I deleted any previous saves, tray, or mods, then pasted the new tray, saves, and mods from the flash drive into the new computer! My game is all here.

Hi!
If I do the above, do I have to delete the saves from my new computer? I just want one build from my old computer on my new one, without deleting what I've made on the new one so far!
Thank you!

Create a folder and save of copy of the folders you want in there. After compress the folder (right click..compress or with Mac with the folder selected - file in the top right and “compress”. Then go to iCloud and upload. On other computer open icloud. Download and move files to sims folder on new pc. Delete old folders.

- glitterfawn3 years agoNot applicable@puzzlezaddict hi! Do I have to delete the existing saves, tray, etc. before transferring my old sims 4 save files into the folder? A new sims/save was made by someone else and I don't want to delete what they've made. If I don't delete the existing save files, will it harm anything on my computer or will my old save files just sync together in the folder with the new save files without any negative effect?
