Hi @NatashaM46,
Dragging and dropping The Sims 4 folder into the new drive will not work. The Sims 4 is designed to have it's folder located on the Documents folder. If you want to move The Sims 4 folder, you'll have to move the whole User folder to the new drive.

Do you have any idea how to move my entire User folder into the external hard drive? I've tried my go-to method of dragging and dropping, but it just removed the documents folder from my finder sidebar. (No worries though, I've recovered it)

Keep in mind that this is an advanced method and you should be careful. Don't do it if you don't feel sure about what you're doing and do not apply any changes if you're not sure.

But moving the User's folder to another location messes up my Windows install and now I'm forced to reinstall windows all over again. Moving the User folder will break some things and programs aren't going to work properly.
