My Sims 4 game won't open

Whenever I click the Sims 4 icon it takes me to Origin, but when I click the Plau button on Origin it thinks about it for a moment and then does nothing. The Sims 4 will not load, it works fine with my other game but not with Sims 4. I tried restarting my computer but had the same issue, Origin will not load the Sims 4, although it did so earlier in the day.

Ok. And did you install/update anything, as per my question in my previous post?

Can you go into Documents > Electronic Arts and drag the Sims 4 folder to your desktop. Now try launching the game again.

it is stupid i dont get why origin wont deal with the matter instead of making the users waste their time

@Lord-of-Trash101 I had the same problem. I just uninstalled Sims 4, then reinstalled it. I believe once I downloaded random sims 4 cc, that’s when my Sims 4 stopped working. So I also had to delete all my cc because I couldn’t remember what I downloaded that caused the problem.

Locking this to prevent further necro posting . The game not launching can be caused by multiple factors. Please start a new thread detailing exactly what the issue is, what troubleshooting steps you have taken, and the exact specs of your Mac.
