My sims game won't open after I placed a 50x50 lot

My sims game won't open on my mac after I placed a 50x50 lot that I found in the gallery. Every time I went back to manage worlds it would freeze on the loading screen and take forever to load. I wai...

Since the last December patch there have been issues with some Gallery Lots, bug report here https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/OPEN-Endless-Loading-Crashing-when-trying-to-load-a-certain-lot/td-p/13326793

You need to move the whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop, not just a few random files and folders (it only takes one corrupted or out of date file to cause loading/freezing issues) https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163
