Need help with cheats!!

I have Sims 4 on my Mac. I searched up how to apply the cheat bar and it’s Shift+Command+C. But, whenever I press the C button, it just takes a picture. Is there there another way to get the cheat bar up or a way to disable the shortcuts for all of the objects. Please help. Thanks!

Apparently you have a screencapture program running. Either disable it or see if you can change the key combo it uses.

  • I've been having trouble with my cheat bar, when I press the combination the game automatically takes a screenshot instead of opening the cheat bar. I would really appreciate the help. Thank you on beforehand.

@EuniceRosales Please try making sure that the last of the three buttons that you press is the "C" button... and that you continue to hold down the other two buttons when you press the "C" button. Pressing the "C" button is the way to get the game to take a screenshot, so it sounds like the game is somehow not seeing the other two buttons as pressed (and held down) when the "C" button is pressed.

I would also check to see if you can confirm that both of the other buttons are not having issues, since all three buttons on your keyboard will need to be working properly for the game to acknowledge the combo for the command.

If this does not work, please let us know...

    • Do you use Mods of CC (now or in the past)?
    • Are on Mac or PC?
    • Is your game updated?
    • Did you run a game repair in Origin.

Please let us know how it goes. Thank you!

I've merged your post into this thread in the Mac forum. Please use the correct key combination of CTRL, Shift and C to bring up the cheat box.
