@crinrict
macOS Catalina
Version 10.15.4
Macbook Air (13-inch, Early 2015)
Processor 1.6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
Memory 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB
I am playing Legacy Edition of Sims 4
I don't think I'm running an antivirus, not that I know of at least. How do I check?
Yes I have tried repair game multiple times
I have also tried removing the mods and cc but the game still crashes in vanilla.

You're not playing the Legacy Edition of the game, you are playing the normal version as your Mac supports Metal. You should do a complete uninstall and reinstall to get rid of it.
- Uninstall the game
- Run the Origin reset tool - https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/
- Restart your Mac
- Launch Origin and turn off automatic updates
- Download and install your game again but not the Legacy Edition
