Origin download permission error (Mac)

@56Gemini I've moved your post to the Mac section (and changed the title of the thread), since troubleshooting Origin in macOS is very different than in Windows.
Please try running the Origin reset tool:

If that doesn't help, please take a screenshot of the error and attach it to a post.

on top of all this, I get a message saying : Origin is not able to download The Sims™ 4 Seasons to /Users/klandsman56/Applications/The Sims 4.app/Contents/EP05/Strings_ENG_US.package_DiP_STAGED.
Please check that the location is available or cancel and restart the download to another location.
Could you please:
- Right click on the Sims 4 app in your Applications folder and select Show Package Contents form the menu that appears
- Navigate to Contents > EP05
- Open the Version.ini file in the EP05 folder, if prompted for an application to open it with select TextEdit
- Please copy and paste all the text from that file into a post here.
hi, there is no version ini in my epo5 folder?

Interesting, thanks! Could you screenshot the contents of your EP05 folder? I'd like to compare it to mine and see if we can copy files from another location to fix this.
