Origin download permission error (Mac)

on top of all this, I get a message saying : Origin is not able to download The Sims™ 4 Seasons to /Users/klandsman56/Applications/The Sims 4.app/Contents/EP05/Strings_ENG_US.package_DiP_STAGED.
Please check that the location is available or cancel and restart the download to another location.
Could you please:
- Right click on the Sims 4 app in your Applications folder and select Show Package Contents form the menu that appears
- Navigate to Contents > EP05
- Open the Version.ini file in the EP05 folder, if prompted for an application to open it with select TextEdit
- Please copy and paste all the text from that file into a post here.

I was having the same problem as this person where whenever I try to redownload the packs it asks me for permission and to say yes to a prompt by windows although i have a mac. I found my EP05 folder and have a screenshot of what was in it but It wasn't in the sims 4 contents I found it in the sims 4 packs folder.
