Origin not working

I have been trying for the past half hour to open Origin on my MacBook Pro and a black dot appears underneath the icon to signal that it is open for like a second before disappearing. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling it and resetting it but its still not opening. My Mac is running macOS Sierra 10.12.3. Please help!
