Forum Discussion
Hello again.
Just to inform this thread - we are having discussions with Apple about this issue.
Can we please be given a time frame of when this will be fixed? Or a refund..... Like I love my MAC but i have spent so much money on sims.. Do I need to purchase a PC to play my games now??

This still seems to only be affecting a small amount of Mac users and is being caused by something on the Mac side, not the game side. Could you reinstall your OS and see if that helps?- twmuse8 years agoSeasoned VeteranReinstalling the OS does nothing to fix, and the Mojave Beta still has the problem, so Apple has done nothing so far, but there was another mouse issue that was fixed simply by making the cursor just a hair larger, they have not fixed that issue either even though they know what it is, sadly that "Fix" does not work on the CAS issue. It looks like all these types of cursor issues are on those Macs with Intel graphics.

It does seem like Intel only Macs but oddly not all of them, just random one. All those who have helpfully provided specs don’t even all have the same generation chips so we’ve yet to find common ground ☹️

Has anyone been able to fix it? And if I contact Apple could they help me?

@zendercourtney Apple is not going to be any help here, although you're certainly welcome to contact the company if you'd like. Listed in the first post on this thread are a few possible fixes you can try, but they don't work for everyone. A much more drastic step is reinstalling your OS, which has apparently worked for some people. But it would be really helpful if you could provide the information described in the first post. There are people working on this issue, and more info is always useful.
