That would bee good to test 🙂 do you have any mods that may be interfering? There is currently a glitchy issue for some with the UI even in a vanilla game, the fix is to let the game load through to the main menu without skipping through the loading screens - https://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/POSSIBLE-BUG-UI-glitches-and-greyed-out-menus-after-April-patch/m-p/7819322#U7819322
