Re: Audio Cracking/Popping When Loading or Music is Playing (M1 MacBook Air)

I found a solution. No promises that it'll work for everybody, but it seems to be working for me. Open the Audio MIDI Setup app (should be under Other in Launchpad), click the Format dropdown, and change it to 96,000 Hz. I don't know why this worked, but I'm not having any crackling anymore.

    I can confirm that this has also fixed the issue for me, I am not hearing the crackling anymore.

    It seems as if this has now been fixed at some point in a patch for the game so no need for a workaround 🙂
