Hi! I am having the same issues, I tried to repair my game but it still acts the same ☹️ I have only the basegame in and no mods! Please let me know if you can help !!
may be a dumb question, but how do you repair the game?

Right click on the game in your Origin Games Library and click Repair game. Or click on the game then click on the cog under the game title and select Repair Game.
