@OhhliviaN94 When you did the "super repair" (moving the app to the trash and redownloading), did TS4 download again? And what OS are you running? There are a couple of issues related to operating systems that have surfaced recently.
The other easy troubleshooting steps are running the Origin reset tool for macs and disabling Origin in-game, and then trying again. This can help with both download and launch issues.

If that doesn't work, try pulling your entire TS4 game folder out of Documents and onto your desktop. When you launch the game again, a clean folder will spawn with no contant. If you can play a new game in this folder, you can start moving your saves and other content into it from your existing game folder.
