hi so i recently downloaded sims on my Lenova laptop which was quite old so instead i took the household macOS sierra to be precise but instead of having a better experience i have been met with all sorts of problems trying to get sims on a apple. First had to download origin instead of steam and found i had to make a new account otherwise it wouldn't load, then after waiting 5 hours for it to install when i tried to launch it said: unable to start hardware does not support running the sims 4. So far i have tried repair sims on the origin app and moving sims from documents to desktop but it still wont launch, someone please help meeeee

Merged into the Legacy Edition thread. The error message means your Mac does not support Metal so cannot run the game. There is no workaround unless you are on a Mac Pro and can update the GPU. See the opening post on page 1 for more info.

hey thank you so much for responding, it is really unfortunate that i can not play sims on this computer, also what did you mean by: see the opening post on page 1 for more info?
