Recent Game Update Issues (Graphic to Speed) - Need Assistance ASAP
I updated the Sims 4 with the most recent update as of Jul 26, 6:25 pm EST. I use iOS/Mac and have the High School and Get Famous expansion packs.
Here are the current issues I am dealing with:
1) The graphics are all messed up - (ex: icon buttons, conversation area in the emotion section, etc.)
2) can't open some of the bottom options (ex: relationships, calendar, etc.)
3) options on the phone don't work (ex: "invite to current lot", etc.)
4) can't travel anywhere, not even through the phone option
5) can't save game - the exit/close button doesn't work so I would have to shut down my Mac by force.
6) loading speed is too long (ex: "change sim", CAS, etc.) - speed to enter game only works.
7) screen goes black out of nowhere.
Don't know what to do.

If you're trying to save the game in CAS you can't and have never been able to. You have to move the household onto a Lot and then save.
For this:

You should be using Force Quit on the game. Forcing your Mac to power off can damage it long term and is not necessary when you can use Force Quit https://support.apple.com/en-gb/102586
