sims 3 unknown error occured

I have the physical copy of the sims 3 i put it in my mac and waited for it to install it installed and when i went to open it i got "unknown error occured" no launcher no anything I havent ev...

Okay well i guess i cant play. And yes the sims one stuff i cant use anymore? Because i uninstalled and the codes are no longer available

The Sims 1 will not play on any Mac running OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 or later. Your only option would be to Boot Camp your Mac and play the PC version in Windows ☹️
