Sims 4- unable to select save file before game crashes (after june 4 update)

On June 5th I updated my game and downloaded Eco Lifestyle, and was able to play the game with little to no issues (just a bit of lag), however after saving and exiting the game I have been unable to...

@Bluebellflora It was tested on two different apple clients.
1. MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2012 - 2.5GHz i5 - 8GB memory - Intel HD graphics 4000 - 250GB SSD - macOS Mojave 10.14.6)
2. iMac (21.5-inch, late 2012 - 2.7GHz i5 - 8GB memory - NVIDIA Geforce GT 640M - 240GB SSD - macOS Mojave 10.14.6)

Game crashes on both systems with the same (latest)save file.

I shared the config file from macbookpro + imac
Config.log from macbookpro and imac
