Sims 4 code not working

I have The Sims 4, but havent played it in a long time, and now it asks me for the product code again. But when using the original product code that came with the DVD, it says the code has already been used. So I cant play the game, even though I have the original DVD box! Please help. I'm using Mac, so offline installing with the DVDs is not an option. 

  • @sgtpetter  You won't be able to enter any code that's already tied to an account, and you'll get that message about it having been used already even if you try to add it to your original account.  Are you sure you're using the same account that you had before?  And that there are no content filters blocking you from seeing TS4 in your game library?

    If you can't get the game in your Origin library, it would be best to contact EA customer support to have someone on that end look at your account.  Be sure to have any proof of purchase you can find (photos of the disc, case, and insert, receipt, etc.) on hand for the chat.

    ... And when I log into my origin account, the game doesn't show up anymore.

    Thank you so much, @puzzlezaddict! customer support helped me sorting it out. Great support! Turns out I had created an "under age account" for my daughter and registered the game from there. My bad :-(
