Sims 4 Crashes Even After Crash Patch Update (Mac)

My game still crashes even after the update patch. Yes, I’ve tried repairing it through origin (multiple times), shutting down origin, clearing the necessary cache, restarting my computer, uninstalling sims, and even taking out my mods folder but it still crashed without it. I could load the game, but it would end up crashing after the Plumbob intro and I would get a Problem Report for The Sims 4/The Sims 4 quit unexpectedly error message report. Here is my lastCrash file in the Sims 4 folder:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><report><version>2</version><sessionid>4aba693eaff4a8e95fb8d6c0</sessionid><type>crash</type><sku>ea.maxis.sims4.15.mac</sku><createtime>2020-11-21 08:59:15</createtime><buildsignature>Local.Unknown.Unknown.1.68.156.1220-1.200.000.477.Release</buildsignature><systemconfig></systemconfig><categoryid> 0x929</categoryid><stack> 0x929 0xdb0c19 0xf105ff 0x1f551e 0x6109 0x1b8b</stack><threads></threads><screenshot></screenshot><memdump></memdump><contextdata>Client Session Time: 34.43<br />Num Save Errors: 0<br />Num Load Errors: 0<br />Current Game State: 0x96d01090<br />Origin Version: 10,5,88,45577<br />Modded: False<br />SystemInfo: Mac OS X Version 10.15.4 (Build 19E287) GPU: Intel Iris Plus Graphics macOS Metal driver 0.0.0.0<br />(baseaddr) 0x7fff70679000,'libsystem_platform.dylib' 0x1008f8000,'The Sims 4' 0x1008f8000,'The Sims 4' 0x1008f8000,'The Sims 4' 0x7fff70682000,'libsystem_pthread.dylib' 0x7fff70682000,'libsystem_pthread.dylib'(/baseaddr)</contextdata></report>

Here are my Mac specs:

- Operating System: macOS Catalina, Version 10.15.4

- Mac Model: MacBook Air 2020

- Processor: 1.1 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i3

- Memory (RAM): 8 GB

- Graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB

- Playing normal version of game, not legacy edition

- Not running antivirus

- Tried repairing game in Origin

- Use CC/Mods, but yes I tried removing them and the game still crashes

    Thanks got it. I managed to load the game up fine and the household in the University town. They were all wearing the orange underwear because I don't have any of the CAS items you have. Please try the save in a completely new clean Sims 4 folder and see if it loads 🙂
