Sims 4 crashing sometimes only when placing lots from the neighborhood view

I recently started a New Game after playing about 60+ hours on my old save. I deleted all the pre-made households in the game and started placing homes from the share gallery in Del Sol Valley first....

Thanks and regarding the Very High sims setting, the majority of the CAS CC is Maxis Match or the Poly count is within EA's limit. I don't use Alpha CC or anything too high because I have before and it caused crashes/lag. The extra RAM I have does help though 🙂

Earlier today I was able to place around 10+ lots with no problem even the same house from the gallery in Del Sol Valley that caused the first crash. I did a game repair and changed the lighting setting to medium before hand. Idk if that solved it or not

The repair may well have helped although it would be interesting to see if the graphics settings also played a part. If it happens again could you test trashing the Options.ini file before repairing? 🙂
