Yes, sorry, I've tried that.
I uninstalled CleanMyMac, removed all files, installed EA and Sims again and the same thing happens, I click the game for it to launch, the icon jumps a few times, stops and nothing happens - I attached a photo, you can see the dot underneath the sims icon yet the game doesn't open..
- @hollaninagirl After it freezes Mac lets me know that I can report the issues and on the description it tells me this:
"Event: hang
Duration: 108.85s
Duration Sampled: 1.10s (process was unresponsive for 108 seconds before sampling)"A screenshot of the message? After I force quit the game because it doesn't launch I get a popup asking if I want to report the issue, I clicked yes and it gave me a huge list of "problem details and system configuration" - that's where I saw the message, I'll leave a screenshot.
