Sims 4: Error code 801

I just installed the Star Wars Expansion Pack and every time I go load my game (after creating my character), I get the Error Code 801. Do you know why this is happening?

801 code is normally Mods related. Move out your Mods folder and try to launch the game again.

I removed the Mod folder and its still coming up

I removed the mod folder and its still coming up - I don't have any external mods with the game so not sure why that would be happening

  Move the whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop and try again. Does the error still come up?

@Bluebellflora What is mods folder ? I don’t know what mods are but also having this issue on mac

  If you use 3rd party content in your game it is normally placed in the Mods folder in your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder.
