Have you repaired the game in Origin? Do you play with CC/Mods?
@Bluebellflorasorry for the late response! i just took cc and mods out of my sims 4 mods folder. here is the mac info:
Operating System: OS X El Capitan
Mac model: MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2.53 GHz, Mid 2009)
Processor: 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB
i didn't think it was THAT old, so that totally might be the problem, but i really appreciate you taking a look!
edit: hey, just an update! i removed my cc and repaired the game in origin and i am now able to save households to my library and save from manage worlds, but once i got into gameplay i am unable to save still. also, i cannot force quit to stop the game, i have to force shut down my computer :/

Good that you could save households again. If you are in build mode can you save?
